Public Health England recommends that everyone living in the UK should take a vitamin D supplement throughout autumn and winter. BetterYou DLux3000 is an optimum strength daily oral vitamin D spray. Specially formulated to deliver vitamin D directly into the bloodstream through the rich vein system in the face.A spray provides the active ingredient in micro-sized droplets. The plume of the spray is designed to coat the inside of the mouth, in particular the buccal membrane of the inner cheek.

How BetterYou oral sprays work
Each spray of DLux3000 produces a plume of micro-droplets that permeate the soft-tissue of the inner cheek, delivering essential nutrients into the rich vein system below.
This allows you to supplement your vitamin D levels without swallowing tablets, which can be difficult for children or those who simply don’t like tablets and capsules.
Shake well before each use and press the pump 3 times to get the liquid flowing. Spray onto the inside of your cheek.
As general guidance, we recommend 1000IU (25mcg) per 25kg of body weight as a daily loading dosage for 2 weeks (depending on deficiency) or as directed by your health practitioner.
A maintenance does of 1000IU (25mcg) is advised following the loading dose period.
Directions for use
- Once opened, use within 6 months.
- Store at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. Keep out of children’s reach.
- Do not exceed recommended dosage.

This is great and really easy to use. I was suffering a low mood and feeling… Just not happy overall. Within a couple of days I was feeling great, it’s made an enormous difference.However, I thought I’d check with my doctor, who said she would recommend a dose of 400-800. This is 3000. She’s recommended that once I finish it, try a maintenance dose. Luckily, betteryou offer a junior version that fits the dose, so I’ll just switch to that.Honestly, my mood is 110% improved!

I bought this product as I have very low Vitamin D. The first week or 2 I was fine and found it easy to use and easy to remember every morning. After a while I started to have nausea every day and all day. Almost like a morning sickness feeling, but it definitely was not that! I came on here and saw another review where they had said it made them feel very sick, so i stopped using it and the sickness stopped after a day or 2. Sadly my body is not compatible with this product.

Doctor said the wife was very low on vitamin d and suggested vitamin d pills but we went for this instead. Double dose everyday. The first day she took it she slept all day and night. The next few days we were like teenagers again going at it every night! Thanks for giving my wife back her libido.

After using this high strength vitamin d I developed palpitations (it was at first dismissed as anxiety). I’ve since found out that high doses of vitamin d can cause over absorbing of calcium which leads to heart atrial fibrillation. Really scary- a week after stopping the palpitations are easing. I won’t be taking vitamin d anymore!!!

My whole family use this as medical advice is to supplement our vitamin D3 which our skin absorbs from the sunshine. In Britain despite the current good weather we still don’t get enough of this vitamin especially in the long winter months when we hardly see any sun. Having used it for more than 12 months non of us had winter colds so it is doing it’s job. Well pleased and totally recommended.

Very easy to use. Pleasant tasting. Sweet peppermint . Taking it for fibromyalgia in the hopes that it might help in some way Patients like me would try anything to ease the pain of fibromyalgia,believe me . It is one of the most awful debilitating chronic pain based illnesses of this era and unfortunately there is no cure and little research being done in finding medicines which will solve the variety of problems and issues apart from the most commonly associated symptom of widespread body pain.I’ve been suffering 14 years and in the last roughly 5 years or so my fibromyalgia has been in a downward spiral causing me to be literally housebound. In fact I haven’t left the house in about 6 weeks now 🙁 I’ve tried everything apart from regular supplementation of advised vits and minerals .I’ve been taking it two weeks now and surprisingly I am sleeping a little better and my pain is a little reduced by maybe one notch on the pain scale but I’m also on heavy duty opiodsRight now I don’t know whether it is a placebo affect or not.However I will continue to take it because as I am indoors all the time I need vitamin D and his spray is SO handy and sits in my bedside drawer taking very little room and so I can remember to spray every morning.I spray twice as I figure I need that bit more .

This spray is easy to use and tastes great. Use in the morning rather than at night or it may disturb your sleep (did for me but mornings were fine). It got my Vit D levels up really well (went from >50 to 140 using 6000IU/two sprays per day over about five months), and that seems to have reduced how often I’m catching colds and other things. However, the spray makes my mouth and gums bleed and did the same with a friend of mine, though for me it was more dramatic. When I brush my teeth there’s *considerable* blood – proper bleeding, not just a little, and if I use saliva to moisten a tissue at any time a little blood appears on that too.Not sure why the bleeding is happening, and my dentist couldn’t see any damage or anything to worry about, but I’ve had to reluctantly switch to tablets instead as that much blood doesn’t seem right.Don’t know if any others are having the same issue?
