The Salus story
Salus Haus is German company founded in 1916 by Dr. Med. Greither.
Dr. Med. Greither studied medicine, dentistry and neurology and had a successful career as a surgeon at Munich Hospital. Motivated to find a cure for his own illness, Dr. Greither travelled extensively studying the nature of nutrition in countries all over the world. It was Greither himself who, thanks to his wide medical training, followed by years of professional experience and scientific curiosity, thoroughly researched his own illness and cured himself. That was the birth of the Salus cure, which was the basis for the founding of the Salus company.
A family-run business
From humble beginnings the company has gone from strength to strength and employs over 400 people at their headquarters in Bruckmühl.
Salus Haus recently celebrated their 100 year anniversary and they look to the future with optimism as sales of their products continue to grow and they distribute their products to over 65 countries around the world.
To this day, Salus Haus is still a family business and is run by the founders’ son, also named Otto Greither, alongside his fellow director, Dr Florian Block.

In the early 1990’s Mr Greither purchased herb farms in Chile. Southern Chile’s unspoilt environment at the foot of the Villarrico Volcano offers ideal conditions for the cultivation of organic raw materials: crystal clear glacial water is available for irrigation, the soil had not been chemically treated, the air is, thanks to the remote position, largely free of pollution. The cultivation not only supplies Salus with raw ingredients, it also creates jobs for local people and serves biodiversity so that the wide varieties of plant species and maintained for future generations.

I have decided I will probably take this stuff forever!! Every time I feel great then I forget to get another bottle and my iron obviously dips and I feel rubbish then I remember “ah I need my floradix “ !!! Really works for me!

Amazing supplement for deficient iron. My fatigue was cured in less than a week. Never knew I was capable of this much energy!It’s a little pricey to upkeep, but health is always worth it.Taste isn’t too bad, you can taste the metallic taste of iron coming through.Was told it stains the teeth but haven’t had that experience, I try not letting it touch my teeth regardless.

I have been buying this for years on and off.. When I feel im not eating properly or if I’m run down.. Works for me.. My body lacks iron often.. My energy levels rise.I prefer liquid as you have to use it.. Tablets take longer to work and end up in the cupboard..

I haven’t taken this stuff for years. My last blood test came back with a low iron count. It was actually the blood nurse recommended this product which comes in a huge bottle, but very keenly priced. It takes a few days to work and I would be keen to see the blood count when I go back to the clinic in a fortnight.The cup fits on the top of the bottle. When you lift the bottle up, don’t hold it by the plastic cup. My bottle dropped out of my hand as the cup detatched. Fortunately, it landed on the carpet, so no broken bottle.

I kept on feeling very cold and I suspect I was having difficulties with circulation. This product has resolved all of these problems and I feel healthier. However, the liquid has stained my teeth. I am not sure if this happens for everyone, but I am now going to need to pay for stain removal. This will be costly. So maybe you should not take this long term as I have?

My boyfriend was diagnosed as severely low in iron and he couldn’t take the iron supplements prescribed by doctor due to stomach issues. We got him Floradix instead and his energy levels are back up and he is feeling a noticeable difference even after just a couple of weeks! Floradix is the best. I myself use Foravital, instead of Floradix, as it is yeast and gluten free. Both products are excellent and get the iron levels back up to healthy normal.
