Amazon Customer –
I bought this item for my granddaughter who is into science and all things related to science. She is 8 years old and I was not sure if it would be too much for her. I need not have worried as it is a great set with clear instructions. I would recommend this to anyone buying for children as it is a great introduction to carrying out experiments and recording the results.

6yr old nephew loved it!

A bit limited. Would have preferred a more detailed instruction book and more options. Absorbing, but not for that long.

Bought for my Grand-daughter and she loved it

It had some good bits but overall, Disappointed. The slime was not slime at all, it was water. We tried adding borax but it didn’t change. Much of the equipment was silly things like cotton wool buds (which we have at home anyway) and then just instructions to dip them in sweet and salty tastes etc. SO there were lots of ideas and not so much equipment. There were test tubes, food colouring and goggles- but I think next time I’ll just look up science experiments at home and do them this way. Cheaper and more fun.

This set is perfect for my 6 year old. The equipment is chunky and easy to use and hold for small (sometimes heavy handed) children. Really clear instructions and ex0anations in the info leaflet too. My daughter loves it and I would highly recommend it as a first science set.

Purchased this for our grandson’s 7th birthday and it is a big hit with him and his two younger brothers. Experiments simple and instructions easy to follow. Highly recommend this as a present.
