   I used to own a PhD shaker that came free with a previous tub of protein powder, which was a thick mixture, making the mix ball in the shaker vital. I lost it in a move and after looking at a list of new shakers to buy ended up getting the same one again.It looks good, is well made, with a nice frosted plastic cup. It’s made from solid hard plastic and the join of the lid is perfectly sealed, as is the cap on the top. When properly set you can shake it for as long as you wish without risking the contents flying out. The mixer ball is a bit like a wire egg cup, in that it collapses down, making it bouncy and flexible, aiding more in the breakdown of the thicker protein/other powder solutions, where I’ve never had any lumps. It does obviously froth up the thicker solutions, but I have no problem with this, and if that sounds like a no go to you, it settles down after a few minutes left on the side. If I lost this one again, I’d buy it again, just like last time.

   I had not tried eof these shakers previously and I was unsure if it would be able to avoid the unpleasant lumps that I had put up with in the past with more crude methods of mixing protein powder. I needn’t have worried, the ball in this shaker does the job perfectly! I suppose the type of protein powder used has some impact on the results, but when I used this to mix some Optimum Nutrition powder, there was not a single lump left, even after only shaking for around 15-20 seconds.The shaker is very well designed and seems to be quite robust so I think it will last for quite a while. The lid fits very well and is completely water tight, as is the stopper which is a reassuringly tight fit. I wouldn’t be to concerned putting this in a bag for a while, providing it could be kept upright.Cleaning is super easy, just part fill with water, give it a good shake, and then rinse out. clean as a whistle!I can’t really find anything to fault with this shaker and I don’t see how any alternative designs could offer much more. Consequently, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone wanting one of these.

   Large sized and perfect for shakes.Has measurements along the side. Wide opening so gets all your powder in. Comes with wire ball pre packaged inside the cup.

   I mainly use this shaker bottle for my protein powder, and it faultlessly does the job – I simply fill it with the appropriate amount of water (the bottle has clear graduations by 100ml up to 600ml, allowing for accurate measurement), add a scoop of my whey protein powder to the top, add the whisk ball and shake. I’ve never had a lumpy or poorly mixed drink with this shaker bottle, so it’s definitely saved me using the blender. However, I have occasionally used this shaker bottle as a water bottle, and it does occasionally leak – I would not recommend putting it in a bag when filled with water, as it got quite a few papers in my school bag wet.

   Fit for purpose, however cleaning it is a pain in the *** and the mixball doesn’t mix protein shakes very well, you would be better with a hand blender if you have access to one. and if you are using it for protein shakes, expect it to smell after a few uses. Doesn’t matter how long you steep it for or how many times you wash it and what products you use, the smell lingers and can be off putting.

   Just don’t bother with this shaker – it leaks no matter how tightly you screw everything down…… and when you’re shaking that powder shake “vigorously” you can imagine the mess. I’m using an ordinary bottle now, and just using the metal ball thing from the Nutrition Mixball Shaker (now that bit is genius, to be fair!).

   Only used this once but it’s a lot better than my other one. The cap screws and seals well. The flip top feeder is really easy and quick to use. The metal springy helix breaks up the powder really efficiently when you shake the bottle and it’s very easy to clean. My only gripe is that if you want to measure liquid accurately the readings on the bottle are a little hard to see. With the nature of the flip top feed lid I’d be carful to keep the bottle upright if I had to put it in a gym bag.

   Got this and felt quite happy about the fact that it looked good and it had good reviews, but after the first use I noticed that its dripping from the top because the lid wont screw itself on top the right way and now I have a leaking mug that I cant put in my backpack if its full because i’m going to have whatever liquid is inside all over my stuff. Do not recommend this spend a bit more money but get something that will actually do the job.If refunds or sending a new one that actually works is possible for you I will change my review

   The irony when it says “Non-drip screw top lid”. However, all it does is drip every time I have a sip. This is false advertisement.My previous shaker did not have any problems but I believe I received the faulty anomaly in the batch.Not impressed.

    Cannot go wrong with this shaker. It’s well built, fastens securely (easily too) and it’s the perfect size! I always like to use a mixer ball too, the one included is great.Also, it looks smart (I’m not a fan of the shakers that have “PROTEIN” or “BEAST” plastered down the side of them).The best shaker out there in my opinion, especially at this price. Highly recommended!
