I have been freezing breast milk for a year now. These do the job. Only issue I had was them splitting when defrosting, but this can be prevented by leaving a bit of air in the bag when freezing.

Not the best milk storage bags I have used, but not the worst either. I used these bags for months, and only when reordering a box, when I read the reviews, I was a bit nervous as many people mentioned leakages. I had a couple of leaking bags when putting my milk into the bags with the second box I used (so stopped using them as i couldn’t risk anymore breast milk being wasted and switched to Medela which are amazing). However, I had about 2 months worth of milk in bags already in the freezer from the 1st box I used. When I returned to work I was a bit worried about defrosting (after reading reviews and saw lots of people had problems with leaking when defrosting) but I only had a couple that actually leaked when defrosting which was better than I was expecting (I defrosted them separately, upright in a jug in the fridge). They aren’t the best quality but the have a double seal, and considering I only had a few that leaked, they exceeded my expectations! Having said that though, I have stopped expressing now and I doubt I would use these again in the future if I breastfed again.

I am literally crying over spilt milk as 2 out of 3 bags of my frozen milk in these bags are leaking and this is all happening while I am really struggling with my supply. I would stir well and clear from Lansinoh’s milk storage bag as they are not made stronge enough for frozen liquid gold!! After purchasing some Medela ones to try out recently as an alternative, I can definitely tell a difference in the materials used and quality of the products. I will NOT recommend these products to any mothers as we all know how valuable breastmilk is and these are not up to the task at all.

Great bags. Only been using for 2 weeks but so far so good. I have been using these in conjunction with a silicon suction pump that collects my let down on the opposite side that which I’m feeding. I only collect 40-90ml each time but the bags still stand up in the fridge with these low volumes.I like that you can record the time and date on them and the double closure makes me feel like my milk is secure and so far we’ve had no leaks. My only issue is that as the bags are gusseted at the bottom to allow for large quantities of milk it means the ml/oz reading is off when storing less than 100+ ml. It’s not a huge issue as I take the measurements from the pump but it’s just something to be aware of.All in all these are great bags and I will buy again.

These are the only storage bags I’ve used but they are great. I’ve frozen and defrosted a few bags now and I’ve never had any leak. I think the measurements are off though. I usually store milk in a MAM storage pot in fridge and then transfer to one of these bags of need to freeze some. On the pot it can say 120mls and then when pour it into bag it says around 150mls. I think being a bag makes it less accurate though. I then follow the guidelines in instructions and get as much air out as I can, seal the bag and then lie it flat in the freezer. It takes up way less space this way as well. I like that it had the space at the top to write the date and time that expressed. Would definitely buy this make again.

Do you pump directly into these bags? Then they are for you! If you don’t, don’t get them!! It is incredibly difficult to fill these with the annoying tabs on top and the thin bag. I spill over 75% of the time trying to fill them. Milk everywhere! I have to try to hold down the flaps, keep the opening open, make sure the bag stays in place and pour all at the same time! While you pour the bag is so thin it shifts so the opening closes a bit and you get spillage. I tried not holding down the flaps and when pouring the bag shifts and the flap makes it so no milk gets in the bag. The newest order I have (they were the quickest I could get when I ran out) has a flap that’s harder to hold down

Excellent milk storage bags. I’m not sure the quantity markers are accurate though as whenever I express, say 100ml of milk per the bottle I’d pour it into the bag and magically I’d have about 120ml.. I always wrote on the bag how much I’d expressed anyway so it wasn’t an issue, and if you freeze the bags flat then you wouldn’t be able to use the markers on the bags to tell how much was in there anyway. Most importantly, the bags are sterile, they don’t leak and they’re easy to seal and freeze. I would freeze them between two flat surfaces (such as old ice cream lids) to ensure they froze as flat as possible, then I used lansinoh breast pad boxes in the freezer to store the milk in upright with the most recent at the back. Looks neat in the fridge and is an efficient way of ensuring you use the milk up in date order.

First of all these were great value for money for 50 storage bags! They look deceptively hard to use but they are actually so easy. The thing that got me was the perforated seal at the top, I couldn’t understand why it was there but it seems to be a tamper seal just in case you store your breastmilk with others or something. You take that off, put the milk in – which can be a little tricky trying to pour milk and keep the bag open by yourself, then you seal it. The label is handy, I always know how much milk I’ve stored by using this. They freeze well and I haven’t had any leak or burst. I would measure your milk first and not go by the measurement on the bag because it’s not always accurate.

The bags come is 2 packs of 25 per box. The top of each bag has a perforated seal which comes away to ensure that the bags aren’t tampered with prior to use.Pro’s:1. It’s quite handy that the area for writing the details of the milk is upside down so that you don’t end up resting your hand on the milk (if you choose to write the details after filling the bag). The area for the details is also above the double seal so there is no danger of puncturing the bag with a pen.2. The bottom has a gusset which allows for expansion once filled and the sides of the pouch have at least a 2mm extra secure seal to them to prevent any leakages. I’ve used at least 100 of these bags so far and I haven’t lost a drop of the liquid gold through leakage.3. TOP TIP! The opening of the bag is wide enough to fit around the outlet of my medela pump. I just slide the bag over the outlet and tie a hair tie between the double seal and the bottom of the pump to prevent it sliding off. This way, you can express straight into the bag.Cons:1. They don’t stand up straight if filled past 2-3oz. I have had to line mine up in a container to prevent any mishaps (see pic)2. The measure guide on the pouches is very inaccurate. In the attached pic, I expressed 5oz yet the pouch showed nearly 6oz once filled.3. The bags only rcommend filling up to 6oz. I’ve managed to fill up to 8oz so far without incident but it’s something to be mindful of if freezing etc. Conclusion:Overall, they are some of the cheapest breastmilk storage bags on Amazon and, if you’re prepared to make a few tweakes to the way you use them, they will serve you well

I’m on my third box of these. The bags are so convenient and saves space. Easy to use, convenient and fast as they are pre-sterilised. However, when freezing I have to make sure they lay flat. If frozen upright, they tend to leak. The milk must stretch the seams at the bottom too much during the freezing process. Otherwise, they’re perfect for purpose and I still recommend them.
