This bed rail can be used in conjunction with standard and slatted beds. The beds need to have a minimum length of 156 cm with a mattress depth between 10 cm and 26 cm. This bed rail should not be used on a sleeping surface that is more than 60 cm from the floor.

Not great as she has fell out the bed a couple of times it will be good for a single bed because the mattress is heavy but it’s not good for a cot bed.

I don’t know if we got a faulty one that had been returned before but the fabric was very loose meaning out daughter could easily have rolled into then her weight would have pulled it out defeating the object of why we brought it, the whole thing was very wobbly, the plastic was an old yellow like you get with age and there was a lot of dirty marks on the item itself. The worst part is returning the item, it’s not free and it’s to heavy to be covered by their offer of £4.50 postage refund so with the cost of postage we’re now stuck with an item we don’t want. Would not recommend!!

Needed something that would stop my 2 year old from falling out of bed and this has done the trick so far. Fits his cot bed very well, durable enough so he can’t bend it. Leaves enough room at one end for him to be able to safely climb out if needed. Ideal for us to use when we travel, as squash’s down to almost half the length I think.

I previously had another bed guard that was tricky to move around as it had poles and subsequently broke due to its poor design it was the summer infant one. I reluctantly looked for an alternative 6 months later and was pleased this was slightly cheaper and folded down, had good reviews and worth a try. Wow so much easier to fit! Really snug on my daughters bed. So pleased with this such an improvement. Easy basic design to fold into itself if we go anywhere and I won’t dread setting up the bed and lifting and fighting a mattress as it’s design of its arms means this isn’t needed. Don’t buy any other ones!

Great for my son’s cot bed. I was a little bit hesitant to purchase because some of the reviews said it couldn’t be held in place by a cot mattress but it’s great. I even bought another one to go on the other side of the bed when we moved it away from the wall.We have it at its full extension and it almost covers the cot bed (junior bed size) with just enough space for my son to climb into bed.

Fitted very well, easy to open and close. It holds my son.I am using it in a cot bed, so it doesn’t really have the border to hold it in place, but a chest of drawers is holding it. It works fine, my son is 2yrs and half but very silly while sleeping. He loves to move around. So this is a must.I love the length of it.Edit: now my daughter is using it, she is even more clumsy sleeping, the rail holds her as you can see in the picture. It has strength.

We bought a different brand (but very similar looking) and it was the most ridiculously complicated thing to put together, we sent it back without even trying. I was sceptical when ordering this as I thought it may be the same but it was a delight! We took it out of the box, extended it and popped it under the mattress. Take note you need a wooden style bed where the mattress sits lower than the frame (no divans.) Also take note one either side of a double bed doesn’t fit great but we managed to make it work. Overall I’m very happy.

We used a different guard before this one that was a nightmare, it moved when she did and she was able to push past it and slide in between the guard and mattress. The retractable guard has been a Godsend! Not only is it super easy to assemble, it’s light, it stays where it’s supposed to be and she loves that she can sleep up against it comfortably when she rolls over in the night. It travels well, it’s been used on a toddler bed and double bed. As long as you have a small lip between the mattress and bed it won’t move at all and, even better, she can’t feel the arms under the mattress so she’s able to lie right at the edge of the bed. Really pleased with it! it gives us great peace of mind as our daughter roams all over the bed most nights!

This is just what I needed for my daughter to feel freedom and not feeling trapped inside a cot this fits on my daugters cot bed perfectly I would highly recommend .
