Assured to remove bacteria
These are genuine Tommee Tippee anti-bacterial filters for your Perfect Prep machine. We only recommend you use Tommee Tippee Anti-Bacterial filters with the Perfect Prep Machine. Do not use other brands of filters. The filter may look a lot like other water filters but inside is a unique filtration membrane to remove bacteria and other contaminants that can sometimes be found in water.
Filter Warning System
Watch out for the solid red light on the digital screen of the Perfect Prep Machine – it’s an early warning that you will need a new filter soon. The light on the side of the Original Perfect Prep will illuminate then flash to indicate. The filter is expected to last up to 3 months.*
Care and Use
Black Particles
Small particles of carbon may be in the bag or on the surface of your filter, they are food grade certified and pose no harm to your little one.
Sterilised Filters
The filters in this pack have been sterilised and are certified to food grade – please do not open until they are needed.

Hurleys –
A bit of a fiddle to instal if you no longer have the instructions supplied with the unit but fortunately they are available on line. It is the first time that I have replaced the filter so it will be much easier in future.The unit itself is great for making up infant formula.
Blew1 –
Essential cog in the Tommee Tippee baby feed maker, lasts 3 months or so. Easy to install, seems sturdy and was adequately packaged, a little on the expensive side in my opinion, but there we go! Having the filter and it’s corresponding machine has made early morning feeds that much more bearable and is a mini life saver!WARNING – do not ignore the instructions to rinse the filter thoroughly in water – there is quite a bit of black ‘fluff’ like spots to loosen out and it’s something I personally wouldn’t like to think of my child consuming, so remember to do that!

Does its job. Although when submerging the filter into water, no bubbles appeared which left me a bit puzzled. Also the water was full of black particles which I had to google and it said it was carbonated particles which were not harmful. But there was no mention of this manual.
Green Life –
I wish the perfect prep didn’t need these but alas it does.It does the job I guess (I mean how can you tell?) but I dislike that is plastic and as far as I can tell non-recyclable.Needs must I guess.

Do not compromise your child’s health, these are a little more expensive than others but are worth every penny.We had a couple of the original filters when we bought the unit itself, when they expired I looked at these and thought they were overpriced compared to others that were on sale, I hate to admit when I’m wrong…….. but, I was wrong.The others we bought did not filter all of the water through and stayed at the half way mark,after time I also noticed a green algae.Do not buy copies, I have wasted my money on them and have learned the hard way.

You need to follow the instructions carefully- this is not a 30 second job so make sure that you’re not doing it when you’re in a rush or when your baby is going to be screaming for a bottle. It’s handy to have a spear filter lying around as you’re supposed to change the filter as soon as light comes on- so no time to wait for one to be delivered

We use this in our prep machine. Really easy to install. We replace it every 3 months or so to be on the safe side even if the light doesn’t say to.The prep machine itself is brilliant. Makes the feeds so much easier. Especially in the middle of the night.

The Tommee Tipper Perfect Prep machine is the best thing we’ve purchased to help save time to make bottles for our twin girls. The filters are easy to install since the machine we have goes through all the steps clearly. Since it filters the water for their feeds, we wouldn’t risk a cheaper alternative like we might do on a water filter for ourselves! Double box is better value and we go through them more regularly than most will. Ours last about 6 weeks with twins.

These filters are a must have if used with the tommee tippee perfect prep machine. My now 5 month old daughter has been bottle fed since 3 days old and this is my second filter (a light will flash on your machine when to change the filter so it depends on the quantity your baby drinks). I seeing as a filter came with the machine and already replaced once, I feel these are great value for money. They do the job well, my daughter drinks all her bottles with no problems.

I ordered this as I needed next day delivery. It came and was great, installed it easily. However it lasted much shorter than it should have, within about 3-4 weeks we had the filter light going. So we bought the next one at Boots and didn’t have any problems with it lasting around 3 months
